SEPTEMBER 2025, SELANGOR — In conjunction with the Merdeka celebrations, Eco-Shop brought the spirit of unity, compassion, and community care to children under the care of The Budimas Charitable Foundation through a series of meaningful CSR initiatives carried out nationwide.
A key highlight of this collaboration was Eco-Shop’s Jamuan Makan Terbesar, held on 20 September 2025 at MAEPS Serdang as part of its Merdeka campaign, “Satu Senyuman, Seribu Makna.” Through this flagship event, Budimas had the privilege of bringing together children from 12 welfare homes under the Budimas Home Charity Fund programme for a day of shared meals, interaction, and celebration.
During the MAEPS Serdang event, Eco-Shop was officially recognised by ASEAN Records for achieving a significant regional milestone: “Largest Corporate CSR Charity Carnival Distributing Meals and Stationery to Underprivileged Communities.” The initiative reached a total of 677 beneficiaries, involved 88 Eco-Shop staff, and recorded 924 attendees nationwide, underscoring the scale and impact of the programme.
Beyond the MAEPS Serdang celebration, Eco-Shop also extended its Merdeka CSR efforts through a nationwide outreach tour, beginning in the Klang Valley with visits to Hiichiikok Foundation and Pure Life Society, followed by programmes in Pulau Pinang, Johor, and Kelantan. Each stop was marked by warm meals, joyful engagement, and meaningful bonding moments that reflected the true spirit of Merdeka.
The Budimas Charitable Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to Eco-Shop for its generosity, commitment, and continued efforts in uplifting underprivileged children. Partnerships like these demonstrate how collective action can create lasting impact, meaningful experiences, and brighter opportunities for the next generation.
