The Budimas Home Charity Fund has been making a significant impact in Malaysia since its establishment in 2002. The foundation has been providing financial assistance to 43 charitable homes across various states in Malaysia, supporting over 2,000 children in need. Today, the foundation’s efforts have been instrumental in helping these homes cope with shortages in their funds for basic expenses. In addition to providing financial assistance, the foundation also manages and operates Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Budimas Orion, a home for underprivileged children and orphans. The home, which was designed by Y.M. Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra, Chairman of The Budimas Charitable Foundation, has been operational since June 2015. Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Budimas Orion can accommodate up to 150 children, providing them with a safe and comfortable environment to live in. The foundation’s efforts in managing and operating this home have been commendable, and it serves as a testament to the organization’s commitment to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Malaysia. The children of the Orion home are from ages ranging from 4 to 18 years old.
