Budimas Scholarship Program


The Budimas Scholarship Program was established in 2020 with the mission of providing underprivileged Malaysian children the opportunity to pursue higher education. This initiative aims to empower these children by granting them access to college and university life, nurturing their potential, and equipping them for a brighter future.
To date, Budimas has collaborated with esteemed institutions such as Imperium International College, Geomatika University College, Management & Science University (MSU), MAHSA University Malaysia, University Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) and University Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM). Through these partnerships, the foundation has been instrumental in shaping the educational journeys of deserving students.
As of December 2024, the Budimas Scholarship Program has supported over 40 students, reaffirming our commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty through education

What?
The scholarship aims to offer an opportunity for all Malaysian underprivileged children to gain the invaluable experience of studying in college or university.
The duration of Scholarship mainly for full course of study as stipulated in the offer of admission, subject to The Budimas Charitable Foundation Terms & Conditions.
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition Fees
- Monthly Allowance
- Accommodation
Who can apply?
- Open to all Malaysian citizens who wish to pursue tertiary education.
- Must be under 23 years of age.
- Total monthly gross household income of RM4,850.00 and below (B40 & M40 category);
- Welfare Home Applicants – minimum of 3 Credits and pass in other subjects in SPM, a CGPA of 2.0 in STPM, or 2 Passes in A-Levels.
- Public Applicants - minimum of 5As and credits in other subjects in SPM, a CGPA of 3.5 in STPM, or 3As in A-Levels.
