OCTOBER, KUALA LUMPURThe Budimas Charitable Foundation recently collaborated with DHL in a community outreach initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged children by providing them with essential educational supplies.

Through this collaboration, over 100 children from three homes — Budimas Orion Home, Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras, and Rumah Hope — benefited from the distribution of educational items, including school bags and stationery. These contributions are intended to help children better prepare for their learning journey and reduce barriers faced by families and care homes with limited resources.

The initiative reflects DHL’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, particularly in supporting education and the well-being of children from disadvantaged backgrounds. By equipping children with basic learning tools, the programme aims to encourage confidence, motivation, and continued engagement in school.

Budimas appreciates partnerships that create meaningful and practical impact for children. Collaborations with corporate partners such as DHL enable the foundation to extend its reach and strengthen its programmes, ensuring children receive not only academic support but also the reassurance that they are cared for by the wider community.

This initiative is part of Budimas’ ongoing efforts to work hand in hand with organisations that share a common goal of uplifting underprivileged children and investing in their future through education and support.
