Seri Kembagan, Selangor, 20 September 2025 – In the spirit of unity and giving back to the community, Eco-Shop Malaysia proudly collaborated with The Budimas Charitable Foundation to celebrate Malaysia’s Independence Day with underprivileged children from across the nation.

The collaboration brought together 25 children’s homes, including 12 homes supported under Budimas, for a special physical charity event themed “Jamuan Makan Terbesar by Eco-Shop.” The day was filled with joy as the children enjoyed exciting indoor games, a delicious lunch, goodie bags, free snacks, and a variety of entertainment that created lasting memories.

Beyond this large-scale celebration, Eco-Shop extended its generosity to Budimas-supported homes in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, and Johor through a meaningful face-to-face CSR initiative. Each home received groceries and much-needed items, while the children were treated to lunch, goodie bags, and a Merdeka-themed colouring activity, allowing them to express their patriotism creatively.

“This collaboration is a wonderful example of how corporate partners can truly make a difference in the lives of children. The smiles, laughter, and excitement from the celebration remind us of the power of unity and giving,” said Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, Principal Officer of The Budimas Charitable Foundation.

The Budimas Charitable Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to Eco-Shop for their continuous commitment to supporting children in need and for creating a memorable Merdeka celebration that embodies the true spirit of One Malaysia.
