The Budimas Charitable Foundation hosted a Christmas event, extending its outreach to over 150 underprivileged children, including those from the Orang Asli community. The event encapsulated the true spirit of Christmas, emphasizing the values of generosity, appreciation, and the joy of sharing delightful moments with all the children in attendance.

Present at the occasion is YM Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra, the Chairman of The Budimas Charitable Foundation, accompanied by distinguished members of the Board of Trustees, including YBhg Datin Seri Maneesah and Mr. Steve Teoh. The Principal Officer of The Budimas Charitable Foundation, Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, also honored the event with her presence, enhancing the esteemed gathering and promising a great evening.

The event garnered support from the foundation’s valued corporate partners, including Impiana KLCC Hotel and Imperium International College. Apart from that, special guests and the delightful children from Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Ini Disayangi Selangor (K.I.D.S), Pertubuhan Kasih Sayang Kanak-Kanak Padmasambhava Klang, Selangor, Persatuan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras, Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Budimas Orion, and Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Kepong also attended this important event`. Their involvement added a special touch to the evening, fostering a sense of community and shared joy.

The night commenced with a speech from Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, emphasizing the significance of celebrating Christmas together. Subsequently, a touching officiating ceremony lit up the venue, with the Board of Trustees adorning the beautiful Christmas Tree with snow spray, creating a festive atmosphere.

The evening continued with a delightful spread of treats for the children, complemented by performances that showcased the incredible talents of these children. Following that, a particularly special competition, the Colouring & Gift Wrapping, was held for this occasion, highlighting the artistic flair and finesse of the children.

“Just like other celebrations in Malaysia, Christmas here is all about coming together, not just within the Christian community, but among people of different faiths and backgrounds. ” Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran emphasized the importance of celebrating collectively, resonating with the sense of unity that defines Malaysian festivities.

The Budimas Charitable Foundation is unwavering in its dedication to three core programs—Budimas Home Charity Fund (BHCF), Budimas Food Charity Fund (BFCF), and Budimas Education Charity Fund (BECF). Upcoming initiatives, such as the Budimas Children Medical Care Fund and Budimas Performing Arts Fund, highlight the foundation’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded future for Malaysia’s children.
